Yes, it is true. God saved over 21,000 souls to Himself in Jamaica with Praisefest Ministries “Cruise with a Cause” on May 30-June 4, 2011. As long as I live, we will forever recall what God did with 3,000 saints who took a vacation to help change a nation.

It has been my privilege to have participated on all four Praisefest cruises and this was the largest effort yet. Ruth and I had the time of our lives and we give all glory to God and grateful for Dr Matthew Dunaway and his team for allowing us to partner with their KINGdom building work. It was heralded as the largest missions event in history as we told HIS STORY.

Yesterday, we posted over 100 pictures on Facebook from our trip and what a JOY to reconnect with some precious friends and meet so many new ones. The night of the crusade we took a bus from the boat to the stage and the crowd extended as far as the eye could see. The Jamaican government invited Praisefest to have access into 200 public schools and share the Gospel with over 133,000 students. Between the schools, prisons and crusade in just two days in Jamaica we counted over 21,000 salvations. Those are the ones who physically took time to write out a card with their information so we could begin the follow-up for discipleship long after we were gone. God only knows how many trusted Christ that we didn’t get information from and they have already invited Praisefest to return. It was Heaven on Earth!

Revival is to encourage and re-energize those whom are saved. Redemption is for those whom were lost and now found. Revival is real and those that suggest it is not important anymore is like saying a car doesn’t need fuel periodically. God showed up and SHOWED OFF in Jamaica!

Ruth and I were blessed to bring over 60 friends who signed up under “FRANK & FRIENDS” and we had a time! Friends, mark this down in your mental rolodex and prayerfully consider joining us on the next Praisefest cruise. It will not only change your life but all those whom you come in contact with. Dr Johnny Hunt was such a blessing on the ship and counting preaching and MC a couple concerts I was blessed to speak 8 times. The love and unity on the ship was HEAVENLY and it is wonderful when churches of countless denominations come together to lift up Jesus.

Some hear the word “cruise” and think we are playing games at sea. Well, we certainly had fun in the sun but it was a working vacation. Only once did I get to have dinner and dessert during our scheduled meal because I was assigned to minister somewhere on the ship or island. Four nights in a row I didn’t get to bed before 2AM and the other night was after 3AM only to be ready to lead a team and preach on the island at 8AM the next day. It was non-stop ministry but we would do it all over again tomorrow if we could. We live to see souls saved.

We had folks join us from infants to senior citizens and came from all 50 states and many countries. A couple assigned to the school that I was blessed to lead came all the way from Australia! Tell your pastor and youth minister or school about www.CruisewithaCause.org Meeting the children was priceless and sharing the love of Jesus with them was icing on the cake. Jamaica is beautiful and their Jerk Chicken is out of this world! Jamaica for years has been known as the land of Bob Marley (reggae) but after this week it may very well be the Land of Jesus!
