Kelly Bowling, fs, Mike Bowling & TerahGrammy Winner Jason Crabb recently noted: “Tell somebody today you love them. You never know when you might not get the chance to.” If anyone speaks from experience it is this dear brother because he almost lost two of his sisters, Terah and Kelly plus extended family – Mike Bowling and band members earlier this month in a horrible bus accident. Their tour bus was en route to a concert date when their coach slammed into the back of an 18 wheeler in Charlotte, NC (see pic of bus below).

Many of you may know Mike & Kelly Bowling and they’re two of the most gifted Gospel singers in America. Better yet, they are in love with Jesus and some of the sweetest folks you will ever meet. The above picture was taken just four months ago in Alabama at our annual Praisefest Ministries – “Cruise with a Cause” Board Retreat. All three of them were on that bus and praise God they are alive but still far from well. Mike was airlifted (life-flight) suffering from a fractured skull, bleeding on the brain, broken wrist, and several bad cuts on his face. Kelly has multiple fractures in her vertebrae and a broken ankle. Terah has an injured arm and is in pain, but overall is doing well. Katelanne, Mike and Kelly’s six-year-old daughter, has a broken collar bone

All three of them ministered with us in the Bahamas in 2008, and are scheduled to minister next year with us in Jamaica for the next Praisefest Cruise to help reach 133,000 students with the Gospel http://www.cruisewithacause.org/speakersartists.html

Jason went on to write: “Bowling Family, Terah and the crew are all now trying to heal. It’s going to be a long process. The best way I know how to describe this is like your house, job, transportation and your way of income all just got destroyed. It’s one thing to overcome that, but when you have to cancel months worth of dates the financial status can get real bad fast.

The only way we have ever been able to travel and minister is by your support. I really have never asked for help for my family before, but they are going to need financial help. Please go to www.bowlingfamilyonline.com and any gift you can give will be very appreciated. I know God will bless you. Love, Jason Crabb.”

Friends, I know the economy is tight but we support missions overseas (and we should) but sometimes we neglect those in our own backyard. These precious souls have dedicated their lives travelling tens of thousands of miles per year sharing the love of Jesus and now they need to be ministered to. Would you join Ruth and I, by clicking on the above link and DONATE today a love gift to help them during this time of healing and recovery. Praise God they are safe and please pause and PRAY today for their healing, peace and provision down the road. This is a great chance to minister not only to members of the Body of Christ but minister to ministers.’ The Lord can use you to bless them in Jesus’ Name.
