(PRESS PAUSE on far right video of Frank preaching at Truett-McConell College to enjoy interview)
Two months ago, it was a HUGE honor for me to re-connect with one of the men that I admire most – William Franklin Graham IV. Will is Dr Billy Graham’s grandson and son to Franklin Graham. Will graciously spent an hour with me on the phone October 9, 2011 as my guest on my radio show “FRANKLY SPEAKING” that aired the past two years on American Family Radio in Richmond, VA on 89.7 FM. Christmas came early and its my JOY to share this with you this Holy Season.
The Lord is using Will in a powerful way and he is an Associate Evangelist for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and also the assistant director of the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. Will was born in 1975, and he speaks around the globe at various crusades and conferences.
Will is humble and God honoring and has a great sense of humor and loves to promote Heaven. He is passionate about people and plainly but powerfully proclaims the Gospel. He is an amazing and anointed preacher and scores have come to faith in Christ through his ministry. Will is married to Kendra and blessed with three children and lives and loves to tell the story of Jesus and His love. In this interview, Will shares what it was like growing up as the grandson to the world’s most beloved evangelist and even greater what Jesus means to him.
Ironically, Dr Billy Graham was just released today from the hospital and please continue to keep him in your prayers this Christmas Season. In this recent radio interview Will shares his testimony and private hobbies and public ministry. One of the greatest moments of my life was right before this interview began and prior to hitting record Will asked if he could pray for the interview and my ministry. He went on to say in that prayer: “Thank you God for Frank and the friend he has been to my family.” That will go down as one of the greatest gifts in my life.
My prayer is that this amazing testimony will inspire you to grow closer to Christ. The “greats are gracious” and Will Graham is both and I am so thankful for he and his family. Our interview is above but check out this link to learn more about Will and BGEA. Feel free to follow Will on TWITTER @TellaGraham
Praise the Lord!!!! What a great testimony
Too cool! Frank, I know how much you revere the Graham Family and you must be stoked to have had the opportunity to get to do this interview. Well done and thanks for sharing. We will continue to pray for Billy Graham and it was nice getting to hear the heart of his grandson. They are a blessing
God does amazing things…glad he continues to exceed your expectations!!
COOL. I went to college with him and he was good friends with my room mate. I met him, good soccer player and an awesome guy too
Great for both of you! Will was director? at the Billy Graham Conf. Ctr. when I was there for a 3 day seminar several years ago. Nice responsible young man
Excellent Frank! You raised some great questions and he responded with GOD answers!! Love it
Absolutely fantastic…people don’t realize good things don’t just happen today without a lot hard working yesterday’s.
Frank, I appreciate you and it was great to get to know you better at the South Mountain Baptist Camp this past year! It was such a blast, I told the Church when we got back from camp that it was like a Revival. I listened to you Preach on your website the other day. Thankful for the wonderful day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice in it. Amen! I used something I noticed you did…have the group say a key word…to key them involved and help them remember. Sometimes it’s tough to keep the youth involved. I was glad to be able to link up with you! I enjoyed your book and the kind words! You are such and encouragement to me. I try to learn from the people places in my path. I noticed that you make everyone feel like a million bucks! People want to be around someone that makes them feel good. I thank God for you! I have never done a youth rally…I’m finishing up my class on Romans. That has been such a blessing! I have plans to take the youth back to SMBC again….Are you going to be there…do you know…Are you going to be back in NC anytime…I saw you hooked up w/Tim Johnson Band and the college there…I would have loved to have been there for that! It has been a long time since we last corresponded…what a beautiful family you…God is truly good. I see you have been very busy lately and I enjoyed your interview with Will Graham…I think his son Franklin looks just like his Father. I got a chance to meet Dr. Graham a very long time ago at a church in Virginia. What a very inspiration and dynamic man of God is he.
I just wanted to touch basis with you to say that The New Briscoe Brothers Gospel Group has released our new CD called “Country Church” and I would like to send you a copy. What is a good mailing address for you?
I hope you and your family will enjoy this CD…my husband Oscar sings his own rendition of the timeless classis “A Change is Gonna Come” which was originally written by Sam Cooke in 1965.
Well, take care and maybe one day the Briscoe Brothers will be invited to minister again in song on one of your awesome events..
Take care and God Bless and have a very Blessed Christmas and a prosperous New Year..
