Clay Crosse is an amazing man. Not just because he has TEN Number One hits over the years but because he is authentic, transparent and best of all forgiven. His hit songs include: “I Surrender All” and a host of others dominated the radio airwaves during the 1990’s and early 2000.
It was my pleasure to invite Clay to come to Dunkirk Baptist Church in Maryland when I was Minister of Evangelism from 1999-2001. Clay was at the top of the charts professionally but like many struggling personally. As humans, we not only all fall short but each struggle with something. Some deal with it while others pretend it doesn’t exist. Some wrestle with alcohol, drugs, gambling, extortion and the list is endless.
Clay dealt with pornography and this is something that most men have wrestled with at some time or another. For some it is a constant battle and to his credit – Clay confronted it, confessed it and now delivered by God’s great grace. I have learned that we all have a weakness. For Superman it was kyrptonite – what is your weakness. It is so true that unless we deal with it privately it will deal with us publicly.
The church is notorious for sweeping sin under the carpet and the things we need to talk about the most many in ministry want to discuss the least. For those that do discuss it often handle it incorrectly as leaders and often ostracize the offender and if not careful can cripple them opposed to craddle them back to victorious living in Christ.
Earlier this year, Clay graciously accepted my invite to be a guest on my radio program “FRANKLY SPEAKING” that aired on American Family Radio. Future guests will include: Michael Tait from NEWSBOYS, Will Graham (Billy Graham’s grandson), Matthew West among others but this interview with Clay will both bless you and help you or your friend’s find freedom with this important issue.
Clay discusses his days as a former FED EX driver and stepping out in faith to become a household name in Christian music. He shares about his love for the Lord, his intense admiration for his wife and their mutual ministry now both singing and speaking around the world about the importance of holy hearts and homes. He mentions his respect for U2, Michael English and scores of others that inspired him to sing.
This is a no judge zone and what I love about Clay is that he is not only forgiven but a friend to a goof ball like me. Friends, there is VICTORY in God’s grace and freedom in forgiveness. Don’t delay confess today. Visit www.HolyHomes.org

Your friend, fan and fellow servant,

Thanks Clay for your ministry & commitment. Your ministry has changed my life & my marriage. God is working in a powerful way with you & Renee
Well said Bro. Frank, most times the things we are most uncomfortable talking and discussing are the very issues the church needs to be bold in addressing. Keep up the good strong, faithful work
Yes Frank – good Word , keep up the strong and faithful work – meet with you pastor tomorrow mrng – will call afterwards to fill you in about you possibly coming to speak in Florida in Feb 2010
Listened to Clay Crosse’s interview; wonderful; God restores hurting people! We love his music! as well as Chris Tomlin, etc. God bless you Frank for your ministry.
Frank, I am not familiar with Clay Crosse’s work but I am all too familiar with the work of Hugh Hefner, Larry Flint and many others in the pornographic work. I too struggled with the ripping effect of mental images.
The grip of porn is greater than that of an alcohol, and MOST drugs except Heroin. It takes control of the inner self, the inner worth, self esteem and much more. It is one bad boy not to fooled with! While performing in Las Vegas I played out the porn role over and over. The Apostle Paul was right when he was instructing Timothy to not play with sleeping around. It leave an indelible mark upon you. Thank Jesus for his indelible erasure.
Frank, you are so on fire for God! I will be praying that the Lord would heal you and remind you to take time to rest and heal. He gives people like us the Sabbath because we won’t rest otherwise. I am very excited to hear all of the great experiences and opportunities you have had and it is always so encouraging!
