START SPREADING THE NEWS! For the second of last three Christmas Seasons we felt led of our ministry to try to have a presence on Times Square in New York City. Two years ago, we did a #JesusSaves campaign and some of the billboards can be very strict pertaining towards religious or political content. We had been denied a couple times and sometimes the Gospel is front and center and other times you have to share it hoping the Holy Spirit can draw people to the message. The video above was the campaign we submitted and even that had been denied but we shared an abbreviated message and we received tons of encouragement. Our desire was to get folks to consider Christ this Christmas and it was imperative that we include both the CRIB and CROSS because Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life. The Bible says, “No man gets to the Father in Heaven except through the Son (John 14:6).”

You may recall the incredible ad that one group took out and it literally had Times Square stop still in their tracks. Above the Nasdaq sign this year, one group had the brilliant advertisement to show Christ coming back. Together, God showed the fist Christmas Crib, The Cross & Christ coming again. I am mindful that Christmas brought God to man but Easter brought man to God. We were able to run the ad over 100 times over the Holidays and in the past we ran it on Thanksgiving Day and every weekend in December (Fri-Sun) plus Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve with hundreds of thousands in line to watch the ball drop ushering in the New Year!

My former boss, Dr Billy Graham reminded us that with the Gospel we have the Greatest Story ever told and we should use every media means possible from advertisement, media, newspaper, television, billboards, movies and more to share the Word to the world. The Gospel literally means “Good News” and time is ticking and everyone needs JESUS. God gave me a burden for New York and Frank Sinatra said in his hit song, “If you can do it in New York, you can do it anywhere.” He was correct and the Gospel indeed works anywhere at anytime and I am thankful that JESUS SAVES! In 1990, exactly 35 years ago, my friend, Tim Heddings and I after midnight raced through our neighborhood on Christmas morning sharing with hundreds of homes the Gospel. Our prayer would be when they opened the door on Christmas morning they would see our anonymous letter telling them of God’s love. It was freezing cold with snow on the ground and we could hardly feel our fingers but we had a BURNING desire for people to come to saving faith in Christ. A couple decades later, the passion is still there but we are sharing with a few more people. This isn’t an EGO trip but mission trip and thanks to all our partners and prayer warriors to help make this possible. We are excited about open doors in the New Year for ministry including being in a documentary released in 2026 and possibly being in a major motion picture with more details to come. Be on the look out for who you can share God’s love with in the coming days. We are all billboards for God by the way we WALK and TALK and when people see us may they see Him.
